We are delighted to announce that Pilar Fernandez Hermida will be joining the P4 Precision Medicine Accelerator. She will be our ad-hoc expert-in-residence in Market Expansion, Partnerships and Business Models.
From December, Pilar will mentor start-ups in the P4 accelerator on how to expand their market reach and select the right business model. She will also collaborate in raising P4’s international profile, leveraging experience from her career spanning six continents.
Pilar is a Go-to-Market expert with 20 years of experience in international sales, partnerships and business development in the Health & Tech sector. Currently, Pilar is the founder of i-Expand, an advisory firm headquartered in London focused on helping Digital Health companies develop and expand globally.
A passionate believer in innovation through technology, Pilar has assisted both high-profile organisations and start-ups to actualise the benefits of technology. In the private sector, she has been part of the global leadership teams of companies including Cisco and Wolters Kluwer. She has also led delegations to the UN/WHO, and standardised public health solutions at national level.
Pilar holds two First-class degrees, is PMO certified by Stanford and is fluent in 9 languages. She is an advisor and mentor to several start-ups, and an active participant and speaker in the Digital Health community.
